Biking

We organize mountain biking mostly in Northern Tanzania parks that is; Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Serengeti. also we provide mountain Biking around lake duluti.we have establish mountain biking because, Not only is this a magnificent way to see some of the very beautiful scenery and get a bit  of exercise, it also provides a great contrast to driving. There are some great rides which take you down the two thousand foot Great Rift Valley escarpment in to the floor of the valley and over to the eastern shore of lake manyara This area lies outside the park, but still has great game and bird life. Most people prefer to meet a vehicle at the base of the escarpment to be transferred back to camp rather than slog back up the hill.

For those looking for a bit more than just an afternoon or morning ride, there are some quite interesting 2-3 day safaris by mountain bike, which get you into some very pretty country. Don't expect to see too much game on a trip like this, but if you like the idea of something a bit different and a complete change to being driven around then this is worth looking at.

Walking

Walking safaris are without a doubt one of the most rewarding ways to see the African bush and something I would encourage every one to try at some stage, to some degree. Though there are many places where walking may be strenuous, a walking safari in Africa is often quite the opposite. As a basic rule, the more game there is, the slower you go and, equally, the slower you go the more you are likely to see. It’s a good idea to walk as though there’s an elephant around the other side of every bush.

This is for a couple of good reasons: firstly in our experience there often is, and secondly, making this assumption puts you in a receptive frame of mind, heightens your senses and lets you see a great deal more of your surroundings than if you simply march.

Walks can be arranged for anything from an hour or two from your camp to a full walking safari in or Katavi supported with a lightweight camp over many days. Some of the most beautiful and striking parts of Tanzania, like the Mahale Mountains are accessible only by foot. Any time you choose to go on your own two feet into an area populated by megafauna and swarming with enormous predatory cats, there is clearly an element of risk. However, this does not mean that each time you get out of your car you are, figuratively speaking, putting your head in the lion's mouth. When on foot, one of the most intoxicating feelings is the sense of inclusion you get. You are no longer isolated in a vehicle and merely watching animals passing by your window, instead you are immersed in the same scene that they are.

In all seriousness, one of the most important elements of a walking safari, for enjoyment reasons as much as anything, is trying to make sure you are not seen by the game you are trying to approach. Given the chance, most animals will run at the first sight of a person on foot, so approaching them takes skill and perseverance. This is something that most guides will take great pride in, and your safety will always be at the top of their priorities. In addition to this we always make sure that you are accompanied by an armed ranger or guide any time you go walking in an area where there is potentially dangerous game.
