(Mt. Kilimanjaro Climbing and Safaris) ARUSHA / MANDARAS HUT

10 DAYS 9 NIGHTS

Day 1: In the morning after breakfast transfer from Arusha to Marangu gate, after registration and other services is done here at the gate start your trekking across the forest. Take a bread at the Mid of the day for lunch, then proceed to Mandara hut for dinner and overnight, 2700m.

Day 2: FROM MANDARA TO HOROMBO HUT

-After breakfast, no time to waste, go on through the lush vegetation drenched in heavy rainfalls of 1000mm per year the mist and fog heatherd habital near the forest. Mid day break for lunch, then proceed for dinner and overnight Horombo Hut, 3720m.

Day 3: FROM HOROMBO TO KIBO HUT

-Next morning after breakfast, go on trekking, lunch enroute while crossing the moorland zone to dinner and overnight Kibo Hut, 4703m.

Day 4: KIBO / UHURU PEAK 5896m

-From Kibo hut, before mid night, start trekking to summit. The night of great joy, to reach at the cap of all African countries. Then back to Kibo hut for late breakfast and early lunch. Afternoon back to Horombo for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: MANDARA HUT

-After breakfast, climb down with packed or break for lunch to Mandara Hut, dinner and overnight Mandara.

Day 6: MARANGU GATE / ARUSHA

-After breakfast, climb down to the gate, where you will be congratulated with a certificate in hand, read to be picked from Marangu to Arusha, then to the point of departure.

Day 7: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

-In the morning drive to Arusha National park for game viewing, lunch, dinner and overnight Momela, Arusha

Day 8: LAKE MANYARA

-After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara national park lunch, dinner and overnight Manyara.

Day 9: NGORONGORO / OLDUVAI GORGE

-After breakfast transfer to Ngorongoro with packed lunch descent into the crater for a day game viewing. Dinner and overnight Ngorongoro.

Day 10: OLDUVAI GORGE

-After breakfast drive to the Olduvai gorge, an archaeological site, lunch at Ngorongoro. After lunch drive back to Arusha via Mto wa mbu social market.

7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS KILIMANJARO TREKS

MACHAME ROUTE:

Kilimanjaro Trekking

DAY 1:

You will be transferred to Machame gate (1600m) and start to walk through a rain forest up to Machame hut, it will take 6-7 hours and overnight at 3100m.

DAY 2:

A walk is done through moorland to Shira hut (380m) having walked 4-5 hours and stay overnight here.

DAY 3:

Proceed up wards the Lava tower before branching off to baranco hut (3900m) it take five (5) hours; stay overnight here.

DAY 4:

Continues with your treks to Karanga hut having walked for 4-5 hours and stay overnight.

DAY 5:

A walk continues to barafu (4703) have a walked for 4-5 hours; at the midnight ascent to the crater your way to Uhuru peak (5895) which take 6-7 hours arriving here during sun rising.

DAY 6:

After wards walk for 3 hours down Mweka hut (3100) for overnight.

DAY 7:

A day is spend to descent at Mweka gate 3-4 hours here those reached Uhuru peak are awarded certificates then picked up back to Hotel in Arusha.

9 DAYS, 8 NIGHTS ITINERARY:

Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Olmoti Crater, Empakai Crater, Naiyobi village, Oldonyo Lengai, Lake Natron, Engaruka Mto wa Mbu.

DAY 1:

Transferred from Arusha to Lake Manyara for game drive lunch, dinner and overnight lodge/camp site.

DAY 2:

After break fast drive to Ngorongoro crater for full game viewing lunch Olmoti crater for overnight.

DAY 3:

Nainokanoka: After breakfast start your walking into Olmoti crater half day, lunch Nainokanoka, after lunch drive to Empakai for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4:

Empakai/Naiyobi: After breakfast, walk in a forested lunch at Empakai, After lunch walk a long the rim of Empakai to Naiyobi village. Donkeys are one of the porters dinner and overnight Naiyobi.

DAY 5:

Oldonyo lengai: After breakfast walk to the foot of Oldonyo lengai where you will camp for overnight. Then night hours climb up the hill trough the steep slopes. The mountain of God, hence the name of the mountain in Maasai language is a volcanic mountain, which is still active. Then back to the camp for breakfast.

DAY 6:

Engaresoro: Where you will meet your car: thereafter walk to Engaresero approximately 20km from Oldonyo lengai lunch and overnight at Engaresero.

DAY 7:

After breakfast start to walk along the rift valley to lake Natron the other breading center of flamingos in the soda lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron.

DAY 8:

After breakfast drive to Engaruka to the ruins area, small crater and the caves dinner and overnight at Engaruka camp site.

DAY 9:

Drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu.
