WCT offers our clients freedom either on their Holidays or private business, to explore Tanzania National parks and it's interior, with personal flexibility and privacy with no disturbance. Our specially equipped and modified, heavy-duty safari vehicles have pop-up game-viewing roofs, winches and short wave radios. Their comfortable seats can be removed, or adjusted to your needs, providing everyone with a perfect view.
 
This allows us to offer a set-up to suit every group, from an individual photographic expedition, right through to a party of 8 comfortably seated in our stretch-body Land Rovers, and new Land cruisers.
 
If you have a larger group, or if you want a more luxurious standard of transport we recommend our new Land Cruisers.

Insurance for self-drive vehicles: We provide the Third Party Insurance demanded by Tanzanian law. If you want additional insurance covering vehicle damage it is best to arrange this in your home country, before you leave. Please check your travel insurance carefully to ensure it provides adequate personal cover both for you and for your passengers.
 
Driving in Africa 

This area has it all, from the well maintained tarmac roads linking the major cities, to dirt tracks through volcanic scenery and muddy paths through humid tropical forests. In the bush an unexpected shower can turn a well-maintained dirt road into a muddy river in a matter of minutes. Even in town potholed roads and dusty conditions take their toll on driver and car alike. That's why we supply only comfortable 4WD cars in top mechanical condition.
 
If you want to go on Safari don't be intimidated. The roads into the most popular National Parks: Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti, have all recently been upgraded. This means you can now reach the wildlife quickly and without a grueling journey over terrible roads. Whatever you want to do or see we're very happy to advise on routes and itineraries that will provide a satisfying trip.

Camping is not only the best way of getting close to Africa, but it could also be the cheapest way to visit the great national parks of East Africa. Camping in the bush is the quintessential African experience. Just a piece of cloth between you and the African night. A quire of nocturnal birds, insects and distant roaring lions lullabies you to sleep. Sitting around an open camp fire with the southern skies bright over head is the real way of appreciating Africa's magic. There are campsites everywhere and camping facilitates in all our safari itineraries, to any park or wilderness area in Tanzania.
